THE ORIGINAL TACTICAL HAT
The Blasting Cap™ is one of the most popular tactical hats on the market and one of the only FlexFit tactical hats around is built with a number of key features based on the needs of Special Operations personnel working in combat environments. The exterior features two large embroidered velcro panels for identifier patch placement. The top of the cap features a small velcro square for IR patch placement and a secondary square on the inside for IR patch storage. The interior of the cap includes a high-vis orange VS-17 panel for signaling and increased visibility when needed. Special interior tape lists the standard RE Factors of select explosives for quick-reference for demolitions personnel.

Great hats! The quality is excellent and I like the velcro patches in the front and back. They do run a bit on the small size.

Tiger stripe is my second hat purchase. I feel the multicam hat I purchased a few years ago is a little deeper and sits further down on my head but the tiger stripe seems made a little tougher. Overall satisfied.
Love these hats, wish the crown was a little bit less structured and the elastic lasted a little bit longer, but it is what it is. I go through two or three of these hats a year and will continue to buy them. It is difficult to find a full multicam in small to medium in stock. When I do I buy as many as I can.

Very well made hat. Probably the nicest I've owned of any other brand. Milspec Monkey hats would be a close second, but everything else is crap compared to the Blasting Cap!

Need I say more Fam? As someone who's had to walk until my feet bled just to shoot bad guys in the face, you're not gonna get a more relevant endorsement than that. Us Grunts brake, tear and rip everything to pieces. It's kinda what WE DO....So the fatc that I have one from like 6 years ago is a testament unto itself. The best baseball hat made. Sweat proof, durable and perfect M81 pattern. Big thick Velcro patch holders. Love this hat. Bought 2 last time. Just in case you stop making them again.
This is my third variation of this hat in Multicam Arid as well as grey and Woodland. Excellent hat that doesn't make you look like an operator while giving you some of the benefits of what an operator's hat should have. It's a shame these are no longer being offered, but I guess that is what stocking up is for.
This Blasting Cap is one of the best caps I have ever had! Likely the best ball cap ever. Pros: comfortable, velcro on front and back for patches/ identifiers, and they look great! Negative: I have a big head, and if I didn’t have super short hair, I don’t see how this XL could fit me. So not much of a “negative”, but something to be aware of.

I prefer adjustable ball caps because manufacturers size the flex fit styles differently. Fortunately the large/x-large fit fine. Love the woodland Camo pattern and the blaze orange interior.

[Accidentally didn’t complete my review earlier] Love the functionality of the hat! It’s very well thought out. I’m giving it a 4 stars, but really it’s a 4 3/4 because I really do love it and I wear it all the time, but having a little bit of tension adjustability or just a tighter sweatband would make it 5 stars for me. This became apparent to me when I tried to run with it on. If a headwind comes at me, then the hat flies off. It also once flew off while I was on a boat going 20mph (won’t blame the design for that one really), but I think it’s worth noting that the hat floated on the water long enough for me to turn around and find it in the wake and retrieve it. It was dry within about an hour too!
Purchased for my husband who is an avid hat wearer...it’s his new favorite. He wears 7 3/8 in fitted hats and the L/XL fits perfectly!
Truly the best tacticool hat out there! Great fit and material. I had the ranger green one for about 4 years till i wanted this one, the old one is still usable to this day!

True to size. 7.25" Mellon and fit is spot on (L/XL). Color Ranger Green spot on..very important detail there. Solid build and happy with it. Ready to deploy right out of package, no need for a lighter or edged weapon to "clean up" loose threads n' whatnot. I'll be looking to pick up a few more colors in the near future.
