The Blasting Cap™ 2.0 is the next evolution of one of the most popular tactical hats we’ve ever made. Originally designed around the needs of Special Operations personnel working in combat environments, the Blasting Cap has spent more than a decade becoming a staple of downrange headwear. The 2.0 keeps the DNA of the original while introducing a tougher, more structured and athletic fit.

Built from 100% polyester performance fabric with a lightweight, ripstop-inspired feel, the Blasting Cap 2.0 is designed to hold its shape without the bulk of traditional tactical headwear. Laser-cut ventilation across the rear panels provides increased airflow while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance.

Large front and rear Velcro patch fields provide space for identifier, morale, unit and IR patches. Inside, the Blasting Cap 2.0 retains the signature high-vis VS-17 orange marking panel inspired by the military signaling equipment that helped define the original Blasting Cap.

The minimal-stretch, fitted 6-panel construction creates a secure, structured profile built for the range, field, outdoors and everyday wear.
