The IQ Target is designed to create thinking among shooters. The infinite combination of shapes, colors, numbers and letters allows an instructor or student to create a wide variety of shooting problems. Students can be given simple commands such as “shoot all the triangles” or more complex scenarios such as “shoot at the squares and triangles that contain a number.”
The idea is it forces the shooter used to thinking and shooting rather than punching holes in paper. The 3 in. shapes make the target suitable for close in pistol work or long range shots. The larger 5 in. shapes are suitable for close quarters and short range rifle drills.
Been buy in the pistol & rifle IQ targets for a handful of years now and they are some of the best training tools out there! Having the option of Target ID and calling out colors, shapes, numbers, etc… Thinkers before Shooters!

Took the target to the range, and made good use out of it. The objects on the sheet were clear and fully visible at 25yds. It will be be great for the next class that we have. Everyone who saw it was impressed.
I haven't been able to utilize the targets with the Dead Man's Hand card deck, but the targets themselves are very nice. Will be getting the rifle IQ targets and associated deck soon.
These targets are a great way to up your training game. There's a ton of drills you can run with these, like "shoot all A's and triangles, two hits each, no double-taps", or "shoot all 2's and blues, if it's a blue 2 only shoot it once", etc. Drills like that force you to think before you shoot, which is a critical skill in the real world. Couple it with a shot timer and you can really build your mental muscles as well as your shooting skill. Highly recommend!
Great training targets.
I use them with my kids and nieces. Scott that left a comment below on AUG 02 2019 have yOu looked at the dead mans hand shooting deck. It really works well with these targets
